Key-Tech, a growing contract electronics manufacturer in Scotland, has appointed Sean Bissett as its new Key Account Manager. As a result, the commercial team can now support more customers across the UK and further afield. Above all, the appointment signals Key-Tech’s plans for growth, and it keeps strong customer service at the heart of the business.
ean joins Key-Tech from Howdens Joinery, where he worked as a Regional Contracts Manager. In that role, he partnered with local and national developers on large-scale kitchen projects. Furthermore, he built long-term relationships and delivered practical solutions on complex, high-value work.
That background fits Key-Tech well. After all, managing large accounts, listening closely to customers and keeping demanding projects on track are skills that carry straight into electronics manufacturing.
As Key Account Manager, Sean acts as the main point of contact between Key-Tech and its customers. First, he listens. Then he works to improve the service each customer receives, and he leads the commercial discussions that keep projects moving.
His approach is straightforward. In short, he first works out what every customer needs, and then makes sure Key-Tech delivers it. In other words, he offers clear communication, quick answers and a partner who genuinely cares about the result.
Key-Tech works across some of the most demanding sectors in the country. Sean will support customers in defence, medical and healthcare, and marine and subsea, among others. Each of these industries sets its own high standards, and each one relies on electronics that must perform first time, every time.

As a contract electronics manufacturer in Scotland, Key-Tech offers a complete service, from prototyping through to box build and test. Sean’s role is to make that capability easy to reach and simple to work with.
Jim Spence, Director at Key-Tech, said: “Sean is a fantastic addition to the team. Not only does he know how to build trust with customers, but he also turns strong relationships into long-term, quality work. Moreover, as we continue to grow, having someone who looks after our key accounts full time makes a real difference. We could not be happier to welcome him to the team.”
So please join us in welcoming Sean to Key-Tech. Finally, if you would like to discuss a project, or find out how we can support your next build, get in touch with the team today.
